About Chuck Smith

Chuck Smith’s life story reads more like a Hollywood movie script than real life...  Chuck was a police officer that went on to build 4 different and diverse multimillion dollar businesses.  At age 21 Chuck became a police officer. Years later while working as a team leader for a fugitive task force, Chuck found himself fighting for his life in a gun battle. This, the second shoot out of his police career left Chuck severely wounded after being shot six times  and the suspect dead. The FBI later began an investigation into police corruption and arrested 35 police officers. Chuck Smith along with the FBI, SWAT and The Internal l Affairs Unit made those arrests.  Being an honest cop in a sea of police corruption taught Chuck just how important the public trust is. As decorated police officer, Chuck has received commendations from President Bill Clinton, Ohio Congress, Ohio House of Representatives and The Detroit Homicide Unit to name a few. Chuck Smith is also a professionally trained bodyguard having trained with the United States Secret Service Presidential Protection Unit.

With his police career over due to his injuries, Chuck founded the first of four multimillion dollar companies. Chuck is a nationally recognized speaker that has shared the stage with President Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Rudolph Giuliani, Suze Orman, George Foreman, Brian Tracy and Robert Kyosaki to name a few. Chuck has spoken to audiences as large as 40,000 in cities across the United States. Bill Zanker, The President of The Learning Annex stated in The New York Post that “Chuck Smith was consistently rated the number one non-celebrity speaker by audiences of 25,000 to 40,000 across the United States” Zanker went on to say” I had to pay big bucks to bring Chuck Smith back the second time, I paid him a record $80,000 for a 60 minute keynote speech. He was the highest paid non-celebrity speaker in our company’s history but when you see him on stage and how he can motivate the audience, it’s well worth it. Chuck has appeared on TV and has been interviewed on over 50 different radio stations. During his career he has been hired to consult with businesses in Australia, London, New Zealand and China. Chuck Smith’s success is truly inspirational when you consider what he has had to overcome in life. Born with 2 learning disabilities and a speech impediment Chuck went on to earn two college degrees.  At age 4 Chuck was severely burned in a house fire and doctors almost had to amputate his left hand. Chuck is also a former full contact karate champion that won a bronze medal in the 1989 International Police Olympics.

Chuck Smith founded and sold 4 diverse businesses. He has authored 2 books and produced an infomercial that was rated number 3 nationally. Currently retired, Chuck devotes his time to professional speaking and consulting.
